Train from Rijeka to Zagreb is one of the most popular train routes as it connects the third-largest city<\/strong> in the country and the Istrian peninsula<\/strong> with the Croatian capital<\/strong>. The train departs from Rijeka Main Train Station<\/strong> located about 1 km from Street Korzo. The train arrives at Zagreb Main Train Station (Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor)<\/strong> located in the centre of Zagreb. The price of a regular train ticket costs about 170 HRK (~\u20ac22) for the 1st class and about 110 HRK (~\u20ac14) for the 2nd class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE:<\/strong> In some cases, passengers who bought a train ticket might be transferred by bus instead<\/strong>, <\/b>either some part or the entire route. This happens when a certain part of the railway on the route is under construction, which is highly influenced by the air temperature. Summer heats can cause the railway to extend which leads to malfunctions, while extremely low temperatures in winter shrink the railway which can lead to breakage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
