Therefore, the closest train station to Dubrovnik is Ploce, about 2 hours away.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking a <a href=\"https:\/\/getbybus.com\/en\/bus-zagreb-to-dubrovnik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bus from Zagreb to Dubrovnik<\/a> is the <strong>most common way to travel this route<\/strong>. There are over 10 departures daily, including several night buses. <strong>Tickets start from \u20ac19 <\/strong>and the journey lasts approximately 10 hours. Buses depart from the <a href=\"https:\/\/getbybus.com\/en\/bus-from-zagreb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">main bus station in Zagreb<\/a> which is located a 10-minute ride from the city centre. In Dubrovnik, buses arrive at the <a href=\"https:\/\/getbybus.com\/en\/bus-from-dubrovnik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">main bus station<\/a> located about 4 km from Dubrovnik Old Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fastest option is to travel from Zagreb to Dubrovnik by plane. There are daily direct flights provided by <strong>Croatia Airlines<\/strong>. Plane tickets cost significantly more than bus tickets, but buying a ticket in advance or on discounts can save you a lot of money. The journey lasts approximately 1 hour. The route is seasonal with two departures per day. <strong>Tickets cost around \u20ac30. <\/strong>The catamaran drives the following route: Split \u2013 Bol \u2013 Makarska \u2013 Korcula \u2013 Mljet \u2013 Dubrovnik, the journey takes approximately 5 hours.
