More than 15 000 passengers already bought a ticket <\/strong>for the train that will bring them to Croatia this summer, organized by the RegioJet <\/strong>company. The first departure is on June 28 from Prague, via Brno, Bratislava and Budapest<\/strong>, and along with Rijeka<\/a> it will transport them to Split<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train will run three times a week in May, June and September<\/strong>, and daily during the peak season<\/strong>. Everything is organized in cooperation with the Croatian Railways <\/strong>and the Croatian Tourist Board<\/strong>. Last year, RegioJet brought 60 000 tourists to Croatia and this year their capacity and goal is 100 000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very optimistic despite the pandemic. We reckon that the situation with the coronavirus will calm down, in the Czech Republic the numbers are already falling, the sense of security in Croatia is given by the Safe Croatia label for tourist facilities that implement security measures. People are showing great interest in Croatia and we think that the demand will grow even more: young people are buying more tickets, while families are opting for tourist arrangements that we also offer.<\/p>Ale\u0161 Ondruj from RegioJet<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

More wagons and Croatian destinations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Last year, the train ran with 12 wagons, and this year, there will be 15 of them, each carrying 650 passengers. In Ogulin<\/strong>, the composition will be divided into two parts, seven will continue towards Split<\/strong>, and eight towards Rijeka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buses <\/strong>will wait for the passengers at the train stations and then will transport them to their final destination, from Istria to Dubrovnik<\/strong>. The train will also reach Zagreb<\/a> via Prague, Brno, Bratislava and Budapest, where Croatian passengers will be able to board as well. The return will be in the evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RegioJet is monitoring changes in border regimes and will take over all the paperwork, collect certificates of tests or vaccinations from passengers and deliver them directly to the Ministry of the Interior. The price of a one-way ticket is 22 euros<\/strong>, and in case the situation becomes complicated, the money is returned to the passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
