OBB introduces new night train connecting Graz and Split

The ÖBB (Austrian Railways) is expanding its offer and starting a new seasonal night train connection from Vienna on June the 18th connecting Graz to Split. In the future, passengers will be able to travel straight to the Croatian coast and even transport their car or a motorcycle by train.  

The new night train is scheduled to run twice a week from mid-June to mid-September on the route Bratislava – Vienna – Graz – Split. The route will be operated by EuroNight 1253/1252 in cooperation with the Slovakian Railway (ZSSK).

Tickets for the night train are starting from 29.90 euros in the seated car and from 69.90 euros in the comfortable sleeping car, per person and direction. The tickets can be purchased online in the ÖBB ticket shop at the official website, via ÖBB app or in the ÖBB travel centers.

Package deals with ÖBB Rail Tours

The operator ÖBB Rail Tours also offers holiday packages for the new night train destination. For example, customers have the option of taking a package tour including a train journey Vienna – Split – Vienna with a seat reservation and a week’s stay in Apartment Porta Adriatica in the center of Split. This offer is available, as an example, from 331 euros per person without meals.
