Changes and works on the routes Bratislava – Split and Savski Marof – Zagreb

From June 18, seasonal trains will run on the route Bratislava – Split – Bratislava in cooperation with the Slovak Railways (ZSSK) and the Austrian Railways (ÖBB), as Croatian Railways report

Trains will depart from Bratislava on Tuesdays and Fridays from the 18th of June to the 10th of September 2021, and from Split on Wednesdays and Saturdays from the 19th of June to the 11th of September 2021 (a total of 50 trains will run in both directions).

The train includes two 2nd class wagons, three sleeping cars and three car transport cars.

The cooperation of railway undertakings significantly contributes to the development of railway transport and the tourist offer of European countries. These tourist trains are expected to be used by a large number of passengers from Slovakia and Austria.

New organization of traffic on the line Savski Marof – Zagreb

Due to the overhaul of the left track of the railway, the state border – Savski Marof – Zagreb GK will be closed for traffic between the stations Zaprešić and Dobovo from June 4 at 10:20 pm to June 13 at 11:50 pm. On that section, on June 4, 5, 6, 12 and 13, trains will run on the same track, which can lead to delays. On June 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, passengers will be transported by buses instead of trains according to the schedule you can view here

Other trains will run on one track and delays of some trains are possible, HŽ apologizes.
